Conference Match #8: Dubuque, October 25
After a great 1-0 win against Buena Vista this past Saturday...which, by the way, sent us into POST-SEASON and secured our first post-season game this Saturday, October 29...we are ready to take on Dubuque and come out on top with another victory this Tuesday, October 25, at Dubuque at 5 p.m.
We have not experienced our "peaking moment" yet this season, which could actually be a blessing in disguise. Although it is ideal to be successful all season long, which is practically impossible, no team wants to be their absolute best at the beginning or middle of the season when games do not have as much influence or technical meaning. Peaking at the end of season is important because those successes, positive vibes, spurts of energy, feelings of inspiration, and team hunger and drive can carry us through post-season and into more match wins when we need them most, and when they matter most.
You can witness our season turnaround (according to my faith, gut feeling, and hope) through our live Tweets @coe_soccer_W or by watching Dubuque's live stream using the link below.
As always, thank you for your support and we will see you Tuesday...and in post-season!
Go Kohawks!!
