2-0, Let's Goooooo!
Boy oh boy what a marvelous feeling it is to be 2-0 our opening weekend of play.
Even after the chaos of Costa Rica, Local's Week, the fitness test, pre-season, moving in and family goodbyes, and a full week of draining (and also exciting) classes, we survived and thrived in everything August threw at us.
We are officially undefeated (knock on wood) and are feeling hopeful for the future of this season and program to come.
We played two tough games back-to-back, away at Knox and home against Grinnell, in which we conquered both competitions and came out on top with 2-0 wins for both matches.
Here are some of the highlights:
The journey to conference champs is well underway and I cannot wait to see our progression in the new few days, weeks, and months.
Next up, Mt. Mercy at 7p.m. on Wednesday.

Here are some of the highlights:
- MJ had two shut outs and played great out of the back
- We experienced our first pre-season Dougie Wave Off
- The team watched movies, played card games, and sang on the bus to Knox (well, I mainly slept, but what else is new?)
- Our freshmen and transfer rang the Victory Bell for the first time (actually, twice, heheh)
- Coe Women's Soccer had more than two fans in our stands for our home game, and it wasn't just family (THANKS, FANS!!!)
- After our home game we had a delicious team cookout, which consisted of my favorite: watermelon and lemon bars
