Iowa Conference Tournament Game #1: Wartburg, October 29
My absolute favorite (and most scary) time of the year is officially here...POST-SEASON BABY! Your favorite Kohawks not only secured a spot in the Iowa Conference Tournament to continue our season, but we also kicked Dubuque out of the Conference Tournament this past Tuesday with our 2-0 win against UD, a first for the Spartans in years. What a great time to be a Kohawk!
This Saturday, October 29, we will be playing our first Conference Tournament game against Wartburg, at Wartburg, at 2 p.m. It is no secret that Coe and Wartburg's rivalry is deeply rooted in our athletic programs, making this match crucial, emotional, and intense. Because it is now post-season, each and every game could be our last, meaning that we must play to our fullest potential, and with our biggest hearts, every time we step on the field. Easy enough, right? ;)
We want to win. We are ready to win. And, we will not step foot on the field without the intent and full focus of doing just so.
